Mr. "O" Is Knocking On My Door...

Have you ever seen those "Mr. Opportunity" commercials? You know the ones with the guy that says, "I'm Mister 'O' and I'm knocking? Well, personally, those commercials just plain bothered me! It has nothing to do with product they are advertising, Honda, however, in these days and times we all know Mr. 'O' is knocking few and far between. So, every time I heard this ad, whether it be on radio or TV, I cringed.

Funny, as it may seem though, Mr. 'O' came and knocked on my door loud and clear! In two quick weeks, I have started freelancing for the kick-ass band, Fivefold, doing their marketing and promotions. I have also prepared a marketing proposal for T & T Hyla, which they accepted and I will be starting soon for them. And, most importantly, I was offered a new full time job, which I am soooooooo excited to start! It is just my style: Social Media Coordinator. I will be working for several businesses, handling all their social media!

My modeling career is still rocking! I have big shoots coming up and just finished my website! You should probably check it out: www.kaylabraun.vpweb.com. Big things in the works people! Oh, and did I mention that I am going to sing cover songs in a cover rock band! Life has really just gotten sweeter!

So, 2010 has really brought new opportunities my way! Thank you Mr. 'O' for that! However, I know that Mr. 'O' is really the Big Guy Upstairs! All of these experiences have made me so thankful to have the Lord in my life! Not too long ago last year, I felt like I had hit rock bottom. Walking an endless tunnel with no light at the end. 2010 and the Lord brought me Jason, the best thing that has ever happened to me, new job opportunities, modeling talent, and has kept my friends and family right by my side the whole time.

When you think there is no light at the end of the tunnel, the train just isn't going to arrive at your destination, or that Mr. 'O' isn't knocking on your door remember: Be consistant in prayer, confide in friends and family, they will always be there! Make as many connections as you can! Don't be afraid to do work for free, trust me, it will pay off in the end. Build up that experience. And, lastly, have confidence in yourself! You can do anything! Dream Big!
